Quiz Night

On Tuesday the 9th of August the senior room went to Taumarunui Primary School for the quiz night. We had entered a year 5 & 6 and 7 & 8 team. We had been practising for the quiz night for a whole week. We all were wearing mufti and all the other schools were wearing their school uniform. The year 5 & 6 quiz started at 4:00 pm and ended at 6:00 pm and the year 7 & 8 quiz started at 6:30 and ended at 8:30 it was a really long night. The quiz had started for the year 5& 6 team and there were 11 rounds of questions it took for ever, in the scavenger hunt the easiest question was (what type of dog is patches she was a fox terrier). The year 5 and 6 team came forth out of all the schools! Finally it was the year 7 and 8's quiz they found their table and waited for the lady to say the questions, the year 5 and 6 students had to wait for the quiz to end. The easiest question for the year 7&8's was (how many corners does a triangle have which was 3). The year 7 & 8 team came 1st and we got a trophy and overall ongarue school seniors came second.
